The trailer of Thugs of Hindostan has hit the internet and it promises an adrenaline-filled adventure from Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan at the box office this Diwali.
Aamir Khan dropped the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan on September 27 morning and it is already topping the trends on social-media platforms. If the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan is anything to go by, the film is going to be an adrenaline-filled adventure set in 18th-century India.

It is 1795. The East India Company is ruling India, but there is an adversary they are wary of. Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan) wants freedom. Firangi Mallah (Aamir Khan) is set up by the English to take on this commander of the high seas. But there is deceit in every step of the way.
Thugs of Hindostan, based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s Confessions Of A Thug, is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The trailer shows us glimpses of Fatima Sana Shaikh too, the fierce warrior Zafira and Katrina Kaif as the dancer Suraiyya Jaan.
The film hits the screens on November 8 this year. And understandably, as the trailer promises, this Diwali will belong to the Thugs at the box office.
In the trailer, you are reminded of Game of Thrones to Pirates of the Caribbean, but the Thugs of Hindostan trailer uses these as only launchpads for something bigger.
Fans will get to see the duel of a lifetime in Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan battling it out. This game of broken trusts and deception, Thugs of Hindostan, looks all set to take over the box office this Diwali.

Aamir Khan took to Twitter to release the trailer. He wrote, “Here come the Thugs. It’s a big day for all of us. Missing Yash ji. Wish he was here with us. I hope that TOH will make your Diwali a fun and enjoyable ride.”
The film will see Aamir Khan returning to the big screen after two long years. His last outing at the box office was the fantastic Dangal that went on to win hearts and accolades all over the country and abroad.
